NIRI
NIRI is a professional association of corporate officers and investor relations consultants responsible for communication among corporate management, the investing public and the financial community. With over 5,000 members in 35 chapters around the country, NIRI sets the highest standards in education designed to advance the practice of investor relations and meeting the growing professional development needs of those engaged in the field.

 

NIRI offers an extensive professional development program including seminars on a wide range of topics to create and enhance professional competence among members. Each June NIRI's annual conference attracts a full third of the membership. 


NAIC
NAIC is a national, non-profit organization of investment clubs and individual investors, based in Madison Heights, Mich. Founded in 1951, NAIC is dedicated to providing a sound program of investment education and information to help its members become successful, long-term, lifetime investors. NAIC is considered the pioneer of the modern investment club movement in the United States as well as the voice for the individual investor.

 

NAIC currently serves more than 348,000 members including over 30,000 investment clubs. On average, NAIC members invest $84 per month in an investment club portfolio, and invest in excess of $900 per month in their personal portfolios. The combined investment portfolios of NAIC members exceed $125 billion.


NYSSA
Since 1937, the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) has educated and inspired investment professionals, providing them with a unique forum for the exchange of ideas and information. NYSSA was founded by Benjamin Graham (among others), the 'father of security analysis' and one of the most influential men in the history of finance. Membership is over 8,700.

 

NYSSA establishes and maintains the highest standards of professional ethics, strives to improve analytical technique, and promotes awareness and understanding of the function of security analysis, investing and the operation of the securities markets. Our members are recognized as ethical, knowledgeable members of the investment decision-making community. As a not-for-profit educational organization, NYSSA's twin goals are to inform and educate investors and to advance the professional competence of investment professionals including portfolio managers, security analysts, investment advisors, and others involved in the investment process.


CIRI
The Canadian Investor Relations Institute is a professional, non-profit organization of executives responsible for communication between the public corporation, investors and financial communities. CIRI's mandate is to meet the educational and professional development needs of its members.

In 1990, NIRI Canada was established as an advisory and support organization for the Canadian chapters of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI). In 1992, NIRI Canada was renamed the Canadian Investor Relations Institute. CIRI, governed by a Board of Directors, is a not-for-profit organization based in Mississauga, Ontario and is dedicated to advancing the practice of investor relations, the professional competency of its members, and the stature of the profession


IRS
The Investor Relations Society is the UK’s professional body for Investor Relations practitioners. The IRS’s membership base comprises individuals working both for listed companies and their advisers, and includes the majority of FTSE 100 and FTSE 250, as well as a growing number of smaller listed companies, and those located outside the UK. The objectives of the Society are to promote good relations between listed companies and the investment community and support high ethical and professional standards in the practice of investor relations.


Netherlands Society for Investor Relations
De Nederlandse Vereniging voor Investor Relations (NEVIR) heeft als doel het behartigen van de belangen van de leden en het ondersteunen en stimuleren van activiteiten voor de leden. Gedacht moet hierbij worden aan het geven c.q. laten geven door deskundigen van presentaties over actuele IR-onderwerpen , het organiseren van bijeenkomsten ter bevordering van de onderlinge contacten en het geven van informatie over actuele onderwerpen, opleidingen etc.


The Oslo Børs
The Oslo Børs wants to ensure that Investors receive quality information about the companies that they invest in. By using Oslo Børs WebCast, companies' quarterly results presentations increases its value by being streamed over the Internet. The webcast can be LIVE or archived as a re-run after the presentation has finished. Our statistics show that a significant number of investors watch the presentation over the Internet and that the number of participants at future presentations typically increases after a Company has used Oslo Børs WebCast.
